When I first started coaching, I had no idea how much work it would be-or how rewarding it would be! It was really hard for me to let go of my old ways of doing things: making all decisions myself, not delegating anything, and just trying to do everything myself as fast as possible so I could check off all my boxes.
But then I realized that if something isn't working in your business or your life, you need to change it. And this applies to everything: hiring an assistant (and then maybe hiring another one), outsourcing tasks, or even changing your mindset about what success looks like for you.
It's been more than a year since the day I decided to start my own coaching business. And while it's been a wild ride, I'm happy to say that the last 12 months have taught me more than I ever could have imagined.
Here are 5 of the most important lessons I've learned:
Learn to love the process.
Never stop learning!
There's no such thing as failure (only feedback).
Surround yourself with people who will lift you up, not pull you down.
Create your own reality by making small changes every day-and celebrate them!
If you're struggling with any aspect of building your business (or even just part of your day-to-day life), don't feel bad about asking for help or changing things up-it's never too late!
